Past Masters of Sugar Land Masonic Lodge No. 1141
Each year, a Master Mason has served in the East as our Worshipful Master. The Worshipful Master’s duties are numerous. The Worshipful Master must preserve the charter of the Lodge and hand it down to his successor. He must choose his officers carefully to steer the Lodge. He must keep order in the Lodge so that peace and harmony will prevail. He must carry out the instructions from the Grand Lodge. He must guide his officers in the business of the Lodge and help his successor make a smooth transition to his year in the East. These duties, and many others, are those of the Worshipful Master. For their service to our Lodge, these men have earned a place of honor amongst us and amongst the Fraternity of Masons.
