As the heat of summer gives way to the cool air of autumn, we’re reminded that every season brings change — in nature, in life, and within ourselves. The falling leaves and shorter days invite us to slow down, reflect, and take stock of what truly matters.
In these times of transition, let us not forget one of our greatest callings as Masons: to be there for one another. Just as the trees stand together through every season, so too should we support our Brothers — offering warmth in times of cold, strength in moments of trial, and fellowship in all things.
Take a moment this season to reach out — a phone call, a visit, or even a quiet message of encouragement. You never know how deeply a simple act of kindness may touch a Brother’s heart.
May this autumn remind us that while seasons change, the bonds of brotherhood remain steadfast.

If it has been a while since you last sat with us in Lodge, I warmly encourage you to return. Our bonds are strengthened when we meet, share fellowship, and continue the work together. Your presence matters—to the Lodge and to the Craft.
Please mark three important October dates. First, on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Rosenberg Lodge will host the Joint Special Ladies & Past Masters Event. This is a signature occasion to honor those who have supported and led us—let’s show up in force and fill the room with gratitude and Brotherly Love. Lunch will be served at 11:00 a.m. with the program to follow.
Next, on Monday, October 20, 2025, Sugar Land Lodge will proudly host R∴W∴ Chris Choat’s final Official Visit as he travels the breadth of District 108. Let us give him a full house and a warm Sugar Land welcome. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7:30 p.m.
Finally, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the MWSA will hold the Master Mason’s Rededication as the Fall Briscoe Workshop at Rosenberg Lodge—a powerful evening of renewal for every Brother. I cannot stress enough the value of this experience; please make every effort to attend. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. with dinner served beforehand.
One more request: kindly record your charitable works in the Google Form linked in this newsletter. These entries help Sugar Land Lodge maintain our property tax exemption, and every act of service—great or small—truly counts.
