Preparing for Renewal

So too should we, as Masons, take this time to pause and reflect. Just as the Craft teaches us to work diligently upon our own rough ashlars, now is the perfect season to look inward — to smooth the edges of impatience, pride, or neglect, and to rekindle the inner light that guides our thoughts and deeds.

Though the world may seem dimmer as winter draws near, our duty is to keep the light of brotherly love burning brightly — for ourselves, our families, and our communities. Each act of kindness, each word of encouragement, and each moment of understanding brings a spark of renewal into the lives of others.

Let this season remind us that even in rest, there is purpose; even in quiet, there is growth; and even in darkness, the light of Masonry shines eternal. As a Lodge, may we use this time to renew our fellowship, strengthen the bonds of friendship, and rededicate ourselves to the work of the Craft — building not only better men, but a brighter world around us.

Past Master David C. Berndt

Brethren, I hope that you and your family are doing well. My thanks to everyone for helping to make the Joint Special Ladies and Past Masters event a success. Though I was not able to attend, I heard that it was a wonderful event and that our Special Ladies and Past Masters were very appreciative of the recognition and the gifts. There was even a Masonic widow present who lost her Mason 50 years ago who was very moved by our event. It is my hope that our Lodge, Morton Lodge, and Sugar Land can keep this joint event going for many years to come.

We have an opportunity to help our community. Rosenberg Lodge will be hosting a blood drive on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Davis Bros. Auto Supply. The flyer is below. If you are able to donate blood, please sign up using the QR code in the flyer or the link provided below the flyer. Sign ups are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome! Every donation helps save lives!

If we have not seen you in a while, please try to get back to lodge soon. We would love to enjoy fellowship with you again and join you in the harmony we find in our Stated Meetings. We are also at the lodge almost every Monday and Wednesday. We enjoy fellowship, study, and sometimes, even some good old-fashioned gaming takes place! We'd love to have you join us!
