We are thrilled to present to you this edition of The Blue Glow from Sugar Land Lodge No. 1141!
Oscar Ochoa
May greets us with longer days, warmer light, and a sense that the work before us is fully in motion. The seeds planted in earlier seasons begin to show their strength, reminding us that steady effort and patience yield meaningful results.
So it is with our labors in Masonry.
The lessons we have received are not meant to lie dormant, but to be lived out daily — in our actions, our decisions, and our treatment of others. Each day offers an opportunity to apply the tools of our Craft, shaping not only ourselves but the world around us.
Let this month encourage us to labor with renewed purpose. Whether through acts of charity, time spent in fellowship, or quiet moments of reflection, every contribution matters. No effort is too small when it is done with sincerity and a willing heart.
As we continue forward, may we take pride not only in what we build, but in how we build it — together, as Brothers, united in purpose and guided by the enduring principles of our Order.

Fraternal Greetings, Brethren!
Spring is in full swing, and our calendar is brimming with opportunities for fellowship, ritual improvement, and community service. Your active participation is the lifeblood of our Fraternity, and we have some fantastic events lined up where your presence will truly make a difference. Please review the upcoming schedule and make plans to join us!
Wednesday, May 13, 2026 | Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
One of the most rewarding ways we give back to the Sugar Land community is through our annual Awards Night. This year, we are proud to present our Lodge Scholarships, the Honesty and Integrity Awards, and the prestigious Community Builder Award.
Because this is a public event, it is a direct reflection of our Fraternity to the local community. We need a strong showing from our Brethren! Please make every effort to attend in your aprons to support these hardworking students, honor our dedicated community leaders, and represent Sugar Land Lodge No. 1141 with pride.
Special Note: Our Excellence in Education Award will be presented prior to our Stated Meeting on Monday, June 15, 2026, as our honored teacher is unable to attend the May ceremony.
For those looking to polish their ritual work, gain new insights, or stand for examination, the Committee on Work has a robust schedule of Forums and Exams coming up in our area. Let's show up and support these host Lodges!
May 16, 2026: Tarkington Prairie Lodge (Cleveland)
May 23, 2026: Park Place Lodge (Houston) – Super Forum, No Exam
May 30, 2026: Northwest Lodge (Spring)

Brethren, your continued dedication is the foundation of our success. Whether we are honoring the pillars of our community, supporting our neighboring Lodges, or perfecting our esoteric work, we do it best when we do it together.
