Congratulations to Past Master Aaron Tyksinski on being elected as the Right Excellent Grand Scribe of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas, R:.W:. Brian Dodson on being appointed as the Excellent Grand Chaplain of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas, and Past Master David Berndt on being appointed as the Right Illustrious District Deputy Grand Master of Cyptic District 6 of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas. Brethren, as we move gently from the warmth of Christmas into the promise of a New Year, it is a fitting time to pause and reflect on the values that bind us together as Freemasons.
Christmas reminds us of goodwill, charity, and kindness — virtues we strive to practice not only during the festive season, but throughout the entire year. Whether shared with family, friends, or fellow Brethren, these moments of fellowship strengthen the bonds that make our Lodge such a special place.
Now, as we step into the New Year, we do so with renewed hope and purpose. A new year offers us fresh opportunities to grow, to serve, and to further the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. May we continue to support one another, welcome new faces, and approach our labours with enthusiasm and unity.
On behalf of the Lodge, I wish you and your loved ones peace, health, and happiness in the year ahead. May the coming months be filled with harmony within our Lodge and light upon each of our individual paths.

Brethren, I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas.
As a reminder, 2026 dues were payable no later than December 31, 2025. If your 2026 dues have not been paid, you are now considered in arrears and are unable to participate in any Masonic activity requiring being a Master Mason in good standing. If this pertains to you, please contact me to remedy the situation. Due may be paid online at www.sugarlandmasoniclodge.com.
As we begin a new calendar year, let us renew our commitment to leading the way in our District. We are well on our way to qualifying for the Vanguard Award and we have some great events planned, beginning with our Masonic Service Awards on Friday, January 2, 2026.
If we have not seen you in a while, please try to get back to lodge soon. We would love to enjoy fellowship with you again and join you in the harmony we find in our Stated Meetings.
One last request: I kindly ask that you record your charitable works on the Google Form below. These entries help Sugar Land Lodge maintain our property tax exemption, and every act of service—great or small—truly counts.
